Job Title: Direct Service Worker - Female Only

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Service Worker to join our team at Advocates. As a Direct Service Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to provide ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling to program residents, helping them achieve their goals and increase independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to program residents, including medication management and assistance with daily living tasks.
  • Document progress and communicate effectively with the treatment team and other service providers.
  • Participate in crisis intervention and emergency response as needed.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and home-like environment for residents.
  • Attend and actively participate in core training and maintain certification of required trainings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED and one year of related experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, judgement, and coaching skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize basic computer applications.
  • Valid driver's license and access to an operational and insured vehicle.
