Job Summary

At Bancroft, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students, faculty, and staff members to enhance their communication and oral motor skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic assessments to determine the need for communication and oral motor skills for individual students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and oral motor disorders.
• Provide direct and consultative treatment services to students, family members, direct care givers, education faculty, and staff members.
• Assist faculty in designing classroom strategies to enhance learning and create an environment best suited to students' profiles and needs.
• Plan and schedule frequency and duration of sessions in accordance with individual needs and School District mandates.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology with a National Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) required.
• N.J. State Department of Education (DOE) Certification as Speech Language Specialist required.
