CRNA Opportunities at UF Health Shands

About the Role:
UF Health Shands at the University of Florida is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team in Daytona Beach. As a CRNA at UF Health Shands, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative community practice that covers a level 2 trauma center, a surgery center, and a smaller non-overnight call hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervised anesthesia for a broad scope of procedures, including Neurosurgery, Interventional Stroke Care, Orthopedics, Vascular, Urology, Colorectal, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Routine Outpatient Pediatrics, Gynecology, and low to moderate volume Obstetrics.
- Work collaboratively with a team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs to provide high-quality patient care.
- Self-schedule 80% of your schedule, with weekend backup call-coverage split evenly between CRNAs.
- Participate in high-volume trauma weeks, including Bikefest and Octoberfest.
Requirements:
- Master's degree from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).
- Dual RN/ARNP license.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dual RN/ARNP license in the state of Florida.
