Job Description

The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports business growth and enhances brand equity and awareness. This role involves planning, organizing, and managing all marketing functions to achieve company objectives of sales, growth, profitability, and visibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage internal creative services, R&D, field marketing, brand research and positioning, public relations, and franchisee communications.
  • Create, manage, coordinate, and execute all marketing strategies and implement tactical plans in support of the company's vision and objectives.
  • Develop unique value propositions, business partnerships, category management, and call-to-action-oriented POP, collateral, and advertising to increase brand awareness.
  • Analyze, evaluate, plan, and execute on both existing and potential marketing activities and strategies, and develop benchmark criteria to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs.
  • Conduct and analyze market research to determine competitiveness and measure return on marketing investment.
  • Identify, interpret, and capitalize on marketing trends, and manage the full franchisee-funded marketing budget.
  • Coach, mentor, and raise the team's ability to deliver and exceed expectations, and develop and prepare key messaging and presentation material for the executive committee team.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in a senior leadership marketing role within a complex organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, with a graduate degree in a marketing-related field desirable.
  • Previous experience with multiple store types, including free-standing, mall food court, strip centers, mall in-line, airport, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated track record of accomplishments in QSR restaurant marketing.
