Job Overview

At TE Connectivity, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Reliability Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our Quality and Reliability Engineering Team, you will be responsible for analyzing the ability of products and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors.

You will design, recommend revisions, and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing the reliability of products and their components, and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment.

Additionally, you will be responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, products, and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action, and customer communication.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of experience in Quality or Reliability Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
  • Demonstrated expertise in quality tools, practices, and procedures
  • 8D investigational experience required, including disposition of non-conforming materials, identification of root cause, and driving corrective action
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9000, and preferably AS9100
  • MILSPEC experience required
  • Testing and reporting requirements
  • Plating process knowledge preferred
  • First Article Inspection (FAI) inspection experience
  • Process control knowledge
  • Ability to use testing and measurement equipment
  • Successfully worked in a team environment assisting various departments requiring consistent quality assurance systems to succeed
  • Ability to influence and drive cross-functional teamwork and work well with internal and external customers and other cultures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge & experience in acceptance and reliability testing of connectors or similar devices

Compensation

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $74,320 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
