Join Our Financial Reporting Team

The Financial Reporting division is in search of a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to enhance our team. This role will report directly to the Financial Reporting Manager and will collaborate closely with various stakeholders at the corporate headquarters and across multiple business units globally, serving as a crucial contact for accounting matters and supporting diverse accounting deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements in alignment with U.S. GAAP and the regulations set forth by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
  • Support the preparation of SEC filings (10-K/10-Q) and other public disclosures, coordinating and compiling necessary information from over 100 business units worldwide.
  • Identify and communicate the implications of new or proposed accounting standards and technical literature to key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the implementation of process enhancements, including system reporting upgrades and optimizing data collection methods.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in researching, interpreting, and applying technical accounting principles, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
  • Knowledgeable in SEC reporting requirements to assist in the preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Familiarity with SAP BPC or similar consolidation systems, as well as Microsoft 365 applications (particularly Word, Excel, and Power BI).
  • Adept at understanding accounting systems and consolidation logic.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and demonstrate initiative in implementing solutions, ideally through digital tools.
  • Strong documentation skills with a keen attention to detail and rigorous work paper standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-driven with robust organizational skills, capable of planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks effectively, both independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CPA designation is highly preferred.

Experience:

  • 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with a mix of public accounting and private sector experience.
  • Current experience in preparing and reviewing SEC filings in a multinational context.
  • Experience with U.S. GAAP accounting in a large public company setting.
  • Exposure to complex accounting issues such as impairments, acquisitions, divestitures, revenue recognition, leases, and equity method accounting.
  • Experience in leading process improvement initiatives and/or digital transformation projects.
