Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly qualified Aerospace Supplier Quality Specialist to enhance our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience working with aerospace suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure suppliers comply with the company's quality standards and specifications.
2. Develop and execute supplier quality enhancement strategies.
3. Conduct supplier audits to verify adherence to AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards.
4. Collaborate with suppliers to address quality concerns and implement corrective measures.
5. Perform root cause analysis and establish corrective and preventive actions.
6. Maintain supplier quality metrics and reporting.
7. Engage in new product introductions and contribute to supplier selection processes.
8. Conduct assessments of supplier capabilities and monitor their performance.
9. Ensure compliance with contractual quality requirements.
10. Participate in Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality challenges.
12. Develop and uphold quality inspection protocols and procedures.
13. Maintain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plans.
14. Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVI).
15. Engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives and Six Sigma projects.
16. Stay updated on industry quality standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience, including at least three years in Supplier Quality Engineering.
