As a CDL driver for US Foods, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in good condition. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL driver to join our team in Sidney, OH. As a CDL driver, you will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport and deliver food products to customers. You will also be responsible for unloading products from the trailer and placing them in designated customer storage areas.

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. Additionally, you must have at least six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry. You should also be able to operate manual transmission, as this may be required in certain locations.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work 5 days per week, with regular overnight stays away from home. However, you will return home on weekends, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport and deliver food products to customers.
  • Unload products from the trailer and place them in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000-$80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
