Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 based on industry standards and location.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CDL driver to join our team in Sidney, OH. As a CDL driver, you will be responsible for safely driving trucks to customers and meeting scheduled delivery times. You will also need to carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas.

You will verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures. Additionally, you will handle collections and payments from customers when applicable and professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.

  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • At least six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.
  • Willingness to travel 5 days per week, returns home on weekends.
  • Ability to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.
