**Job Summary:**

As a Paratransit Driver for Via, you will operate accessible vans and provide exceptional customer service to riders in the Fort Worth area.

**Responsibilities:**

* Safely transport elderly and/or persons with disabilities using lift-equipped vehicles
* Learn Via operations and related safety procedures
* Perform routine vehicle operations, including pre- and post-shift inspections

**Requirements:**

* Possess good knowledge of the city
* Able to follow written and verbal instructions
* Able to operate a wheelchair-accessible vehicle within standard safety guidelines
* Able to deal effectively and courteously with all customers and the public
* Hold a valid driver's license
* Pass a drug screening, motor vehicle check, and criminal background check
* At least 25 years old

**Compensation and Benefits:**

* Salary determined by experience, knowledge, and skills
* Starting at $17.00/hour during training, increasing to $18.00/hour
* Trainer drivers with prior training experience may be paid up to $19.00/hour
* Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401K matching, holiday pay, and PTO
