Job Summary:


PennState Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in the Oncology Med Surg department. As a key member of the healthcare team, the successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.


Responsibilities:



  • Administer nursing care to patients with various medical conditions, including oncology, women's health, and general surgery.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor patient health, identifying potential complications and taking swift action to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:



  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • BLS certification prior to orientation completion.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
