Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for Newborn and Nursery Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Lancaster Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct care to newborns, room in with mothers after delivery, and provide 24-hour in-house coverage to diagnose and treat acute illness. This is an excellent opportunity to focus on research and education in health promotion and disease prevention.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to newborns, including routine and acute inpatient care
- Room in with mothers after delivery to provide support and care
- Diagnose and treat acute illness, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Currently licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by the State of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Two years of experience as an RN
- NICU critical care experience
- Two years of experience within their licensure
- Neonatology Nurse Practitioner degree
