BiRite Foodservice Distributors, a third-generation family-owned company, offers an unparalleled foodservice solution to the Bay Area and Sacramento. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be part of a dynamic team that ensures timely deliveries and competitive pricing.

The primary responsibilities of this role include restocking shelves, receiving deliveries, processing orders, counting inventory, and shipping goods in a timely manner. You will report directly to the Day Warehouse Manager and work closely with other warehouse staff.

Key Duties:

  • Organize stock within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location.
  • Pack items for shipping or pickup according to Company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
  • Verify incoming shipments against invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Label and mark stock according to Company procedure.
  • Process and receive warehouse stock products.
  • Load and wrap stock on pallets.
  • Inspect inventory for damages and report any discrepancies to the Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Maintain high standards for work areas and appearance.
  • Stand-up Forklift and pallet jack experience is highly preferred.
  • Previous warehouse receiving experience is a plus.
  • Good listening and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Read, understand, and follow written directions, equipment manuals, warnings on labels for cleaning agents, solvents, and other equipment.
  • Able to read and comprehend written instructions, messages, and verbal communications in English.
  • Familiarity with operating a computer, including navigation and basic functions.
  • Able to use software like Slack for effective interdepartmental communication.
  • Punctuality is mandatory.

Work Environment:

  • Significant walking (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, squat, push, and/or pull, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to drive, handle, and feel.
  • Operate warehouse equipment.
  • Closely monitor vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

This position is nonexempt, full-time, and located in Brisbane, CA. The estimated hourly rate is $22.00, and the schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with the possibility of overtime based on operational needs.
