The Chefs' Warehouse, a leading food distribution company, is seeking an experienced Meat Specialist to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing specialty cuts of meat in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer specifications.
This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Selecting products from pick tickets and staging them for production
- Cutting product to meet customer specifications
- Transporting finished product to the appropriate packaging line using carts
- Weighing product to ensure compliance with customer/company specifications
- Replenishing stock as needed
- Maintaining work area clean and orderly
In addition to these key responsibilities, the Meat Specialist must maintain product integrity by following proper handling procedures and reporting any damage to management immediately.
Requirements and Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 months experience
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
