Job Title: Adjunct Faculty-Chemistry

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty-Chemistry to teach students in on-ground lecture and laboratory courses. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and the ability to teach a variety of courses, including introductory, general, and organic chemistry.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach students in on-ground lecture and laboratory courses
  • Develop and implement course materials and assessments
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in chemistry or a related field with 18 or more graduate semester hours in chemistry from a regionally accredited institution
  • Graduate coursework in organic chemistry
  • Previous experience teaching lecture and laboratories is desired
  • Demonstrated ability to teach traditional face-to-face classes
  • Use of technology (Zoom, D2L) to support student learning is expected

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience teaching chemistry courses
  • Strong knowledge of chemistry curriculum and pedagogy
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
