About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the technical planning, coordination, architecture, and implementation of multiple programs across our new automotive shopping initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the lifecycle of software teams delivering for the programs you manage, from architecture to implementation and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Creatives, Designers, Program Managers, Product Managers, and engineers, to plan and execute complex and highly-technical projects with high impact and visibility.
  • Develop and execute product and technical roadmaps, driving roadmap strategy and definition, and owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Build and evaluate system-level technical design, and analyze the cost/benefit of feature selection and communicate results throughout the organization.
  • Interface with immediate multi-discipline teams, build relationships with partners across Amazon, and communicate across diverse areas of the org.

About the Team

This role is on a newly formed team with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
