Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Drinking Water Project Engineer to join our Water Business Group in Colorado. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the growth and development of the Drinking Water Market Sector in Colorado, including projects such as water treatment facilities, pipelines, and pump stations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advance business development strategies and pursue new clients and projects
  • Lead the technical aspects of projects, including studies and designs
  • Mentor entry-level engineers and staff development
  • Schedule and coordinate work, including multi-disciplinary teams
  • Compile design and construction contract documents
  • Design standards and practices
  • Interact with multiple business groups across local and regional HDR offices
  • Facilitate day-to-day business activities in support of the Section Manager
  • Strong writing and oral skills
  • Track record of completing work on time and within budget
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects
  • PE
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and with a project team
  • Attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree
  • Experience with bench scale and pilot scale testing

The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $75,229 - $107,470 annually and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, education, and geography.
