The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, including collection trucks and compactor vehicles. You will also be required to perform pre- and post-operation inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in compliance with company safety standards.

In addition to your technical skills, we are looking for someone who is able to provide excellent customer service and interact effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other team members on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate heavy equipment, including collection trucks and compactor vehicles
  • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in compliance with company safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other team members on a daily basis
  • Clean area around accidental waste spills and ensure adherence to all applicable safety standards and policies
  • Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements
  • Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner
  • Able to adhere to company policies and rules set forth
