JOB SUMMARY:
A Certified Nursing Assistant Trainee is responsible for performing essential tasks that support the nursing department and assist nursing staff in delivering care to residents. This role involves participating in a State-approved 100-hour Nurse Aide Training Program or having completed the program while awaiting clinical and written evaluations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate understanding of age-specific developmental factors relevant to adult and geriatric residents when planning care.
- Attend all mandatory training sessions by the employee's anniversary date.
- Collaborate effectively under the guidance of the Inservice Coordinator or Charge Nurse as part of the interdisciplinary team.
- Adapt to changes in unit or shift assignments to meet the needs of residents and the facility.
- Comply with the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program in all work functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- No history of resident abuse, mistreatment, or misappropriation of property
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work respectfully with colleagues, residents, and families
- Compassionate and caring bedside manner
- Respect for residents' privacy and rights, with a genuine concern for the elderly
- Capability to perform tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
- Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift at least 20 pounds
