About the JobThis is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children with autism. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavioral treatment plans and instructional plans using ABA principles.
- Provide individualized services to children with autism in a home, school, clinic, or community setting.
- Create a safe and supportive environment for clients and families.
- Support clients during challenging behaviors through implementation of behavior support plans developed by the BCBA.
- Collaborate with the Behavior Analyst to maintain ongoing communication with parents/caregivers about client progress and plan of care.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
- Possess a Bachelor or Associate Degree in behavioral health, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Hold an active Registered Behavior Technician Certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Haven prior professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
