About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate Behavioral Technician to join our team at Surpass Behavioral Health. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide individualized therapy services in a 1:1 teaching format to children with autism in a clinical, school, and/or home setting.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Prior experience working with children with ASD is an asset, but not required. We offer comprehensive training and certification programs to ensure our employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct one-on-one therapeutic care to clients in a home, school, clinic, and/or community setting
  • Implement behavioral treatment plans and instructional plans utilizing ABA principles as directed by a BCBA
  • Support clients during times of challenging behaviors through the implementation of the client's behavior support plan
  • Maintain ongoing communication with parents/caregivers regarding the client's progress and plan of care
  • Complete session notes and timesheets per company protocols

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor or Associate Degree in behavioral health, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field, preferred
  • Ability to acquire RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification within 45 days of hire date
