Job Overview

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm; $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the daily functions of the ranch, including feeding, mortality management, equipment adjustments, and sanitation tasks.
  • Contribute to the grow-out program by ensuring optimal ranch setup, brooding conditions, temperature regulation, ventilation, and adherence to vaccination and medication protocols.
  • Assist in coordinating feed deliveries, maintaining precise feed and fuel inventories, and ensuring effective growing practices. Help maintain facilities and equipment for peak performance and aesthetic appeal.
  • Learn and assist in upholding sanitation standards and disease prevention protocols. Maintain a strong awareness of safety practices, animal welfare, and bio-security measures, reporting any issues to the Ranch Manager or Field Supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong mathematical and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills (Basic English).
  • Willingness to develop supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Availability to work as scheduled, including overtime, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • Ability to adhere to company standards, guidelines, and policies.
  • Flexibility to work at other ranches or complexes as required.
