Job Overview

The Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for executing standard production assembly tasks on structural and mechanical components, subassemblies, and aircraft systems, as well as related equipment and accessories through manual processes. This role requires the ability to accurately select appropriate parts, materials, tools, assemblies, standards, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drill, shim, install, fit, fasten, align, and adjust components as necessary to ensure proper installation of structural elements.
  • Utilize production and engineering blueprints to identify precise locations for assembly.
  • Report any job-related issues, including workmanship errors, material defects, and procedural inconsistencies, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Conduct repairs, rework, functional checks, and implement authorized modifications as directed by the Lead.

Contract Details

This position is offered on a contract basis with a duration of 12 months.

Work Environment

This role requires full-time on-site presence. The work setting involves collaboration within large teams and necessitates adaptability to various shifts. Candidates should be prepared to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts as required.

Compensation

Hourly pay is set at $35 for local candidates and $40 for those requiring per diem.
