RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team.

**Job Summary:**

We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment.

As a Mammography Technologist, you will operate your assigned scanner(s) to produce high-quality images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Screens patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to the examination
* Explains and prepares patients for Mammography imaging procedures
* Performs routine and advanced Mammography imaging procedures
* Adjusts Mammography scan parameters correctly and as needed
* Maintains positive attitude and working relationships with radiologists, customers, and other associates
* Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations
* Accurately maintains patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS)
* Maintains an orderly and clean work area
* Ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Completion of a radiologic technology program approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
* Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Mammography
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
