Your Role and Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be instrumental in executing warehouse and shipping functions in support of industrial operations, specifically by managing the inventory of essential spare parts and operational supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety: Foster a safe working environment and promote a robust safety culture.
  • Strive for zero accidents and incidents by taking a proactive approach to safety.
  • Receiving Incoming Material Shipments:
  • Unload and inspect shipments for damage, documenting findings on the bill of lading.
  • Verify the accuracy of shipment contents against packing lists.
  • Direct rejected shipments to the designated quarantine area.
  • Ensure proper labeling of incoming materials.
  • Review calibration certificates for compliance and attach them to the relevant materials.
  • Stock accepted shipments in the warehouse.
  • Electronic Receiving:
  • Process Work Orders (Maximo Inventory Reservation Requests):
  • Receive and comprehend work orders from the National Warehouse Customer Service Representative.
  • Pick and stage materials as specified in the work orders.
  • Document picked or back-ordered materials accordingly.
  • Package materials for dispatch and generate shipping labels.
  • Load outgoing shipments.
  • Additional Warehouse Duties:
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Oversee the material quarantine area and its processes.
  • Assist with cycle counts and annual inventory assessments.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

Cost Savings Initiatives:

  • Identify and implement opportunities for savings related to inventory procurement and shipments.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in inventory or asset management.
