Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Associate to join our team at IPIC. This role involves preparing menu items, coordinating food orders, and maintaining proper food storage and sanitation standards.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring guest safety, preparing menu items according to recipes and presentation guidelines, and adapting to daily specials and menu changes.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare high-quality menu items using established recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Food Safety: Maintain proper food storage and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety.
  • Order Coordination: Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to guests.
  • Adaptability: Adapt to daily specials and menu changes, learning new items as required.
  • Teamwork: Cooperate with other team members in a positive and friendly manner.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrate flexibility with special requests and substitutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 1-year experience in food service or hospitality (desired but not required).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to create memorable guest connections with our food and beverages.
  • Mastery of the restaurant's menu and enthusiasm for our offering.
  • Clear and professional communication skills to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends and shifts from morning through late night.
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
