Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The role involves refining surface areas on metallic components, ensuring a thorough final quality assessment, and preparing items for dispatch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interprets technical drawings and documentation
  • Maintains a tidy and secure working environment
  • Conducts inspections of finished products for quality control
  • Utilizes a range of pneumatic and manual tools for grinding and polishing metal surfaces
  • Prepares and packages products for delivery

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Successful completion of polishing practical evaluation
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Proficiency in using a tape measure to 1/16" accuracy

WORK EXPECTATIONS:

  • Capability to stand or walk for 8-10 hours daily
  • Ability to lift weights up to 75 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled environments during warmer months
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach occasionally
  • Capability to feel and visually assess items
  • Successful completion of a drug screening

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A High School Diploma is preferred.
