We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team at Northwestern Medicine. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our endoscopy lab.
Key Responsibilities- Reprocess endoscopes and operating equipment to ensure proper function and safety.
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and organized environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Transport patients safely and efficiently, using proper patient identification procedures.
- Assist nurses in preparing patients for procedures and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Perform other technical and manual tasks as required, under the direction of physicians and nurses.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- CPR - Basic Life Support certification.
- Bachelor of Science Degree.
