Position Summary:

We are in search of a dedicated psychologist who is enthusiastic about learning and professional growth. This role is ideal for early-career psychologists or recent graduates seeking a post-doctoral residency with supervision in psychology. The successful candidate will possess a solid foundation in psychological assessment and a strong desire to enhance their diagnostic skills within an outpatient environment. This position presents a unique opportunity for professional advancement under the guidance of seasoned psychologists.

Shoreline operates primarily from our main office, with travel to various satellite offices or testing locations. Evaluations are conducted in a range of settings, from urban to rural environments, ensuring a diverse experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments for adolescents, adults, and older adults.
  • Administer, score, and interpret a variety of psychological tests and assessments.
  • Collaborate with staff psychometrists to facilitate the testing and scoring process.
  • Prepare comprehensive assessment reports and deliver feedback to clients, families, and referring professionals.
  • Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with ethical and legal standards.
  • Commit to continuous professional development and stay informed about advancements in psychological assessment.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program. Candidates from School Psychology programs may be considered based on qualifications and experience.
  • Completion of an APA-accredited internship.
  • Eligibility for licensure or provisional licensure in Florida, with formal clinical supervision available for post-doctoral applicants.
  • Strong background in psychological assessment, including cognitive, personality, and neuropsychological testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and a solid work ethic.
  • Clean criminal history.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.

  • Experience with diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
