Position OverviewAre you an inspiring leader with a passion for teamwork? Do you possess strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities? US Engine Valve is seeking dedicated leaders to oversee our off-shift operations.

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing various sectors of the facility, ensuring the production of high-quality components to meet plant objectives in safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires availability for the overnight shift (11pm-7:30am).

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Ensure that all equipment and processes are safe for employees and the environment, achieving safety targets.
  • Adhere to the Quality Management and Environmental Management System and Safety protocols on a daily basis.
  • Detect and rectify quality issues promptly.
  • Assess and fulfill departmental training requirements, ensuring all team members are qualified to operate machinery.
  • Lead teams to enhance processes, quality, cost-effectiveness, and employee development.
  • Guide, direct, and supervise production staff on performance expectations; address employee concerns; track employee performance, attendance, and leave.
  • Oversee product flow to ensure appropriate staffing strategies to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Promote continuous improvement in 5S practices, cleanliness, organization, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
