Manufacturing Operations Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Support Associate to join our team at BASF Corporation. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will provide administrative support, manage SAP production transactions, and utilize your proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management system to summarize and analyze data and generate production, environmental and safety reports.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the manufacturing team, including scheduling and set up for meetings, arranging logistics for visitors, and creation of and maintenance for filing systems.

Manage SAP production transactions, including Goods Issues for all shipments from the site, generation of shipping schedules for cylinder/portable tank shipments, picking of deliveries and print shipping papers and promptly manage material returns.

Utilize your proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management system to summarize and analyze data and generate production, environmental and safety reports.

Participate in the annual Physical Inventory and assist with analysis of inventory adjustments, which requires the ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve quickly.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED with 2 years of administrative, supply chain or industrial experience.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computerized system software.

Preferably have 2-3 years of experience with an inventory management system, SAP experience is a big plus.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
