Job Title: Emergency Department Observation

At Emory Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Clinician to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our medical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Clinical Care Specialist to work in our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a passion for delivering patient-centered care. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the development of our clinical programs.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, dependable, and effective care to patients in the Emergency Department
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Valid, active nursing license in the state of Georgia
  • 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program
  • BLS certification required; ACLS may be required in designated departments
