Electrical Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at IMEG Corp. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will work closely with a team of experienced engineers and consultants to provide engineering solutions and advice to clients to ensure positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and analysis of electrical systems, utilizing engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards.
  • Interact with clients to understand their needs, gather project requirements, and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Work as part of a project team to support the execution of consulting projects, assisting in project planning and scheduling tasks to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Analyze low to medium complexity engineering tasks and propose innovative solutions, collaborating with senior engineers and consultants to develop practical and efficient solutions.
  • Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure that engineering designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards, and client requirements.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering, contributing to research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required.
  • Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred.
  • Engineering in Training (EIT) License preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
