Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Resource Team as a Nurse Care Specialist. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients on all our in-patient units, as well as at the Clinical Evaluation Center.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, identifying patient behaviors that contribute to crisis situations, and utilizing non-verbal and verbal techniques to de-escalate these situations.
You will also be responsible for planning nursing interventions for assigned patients, establishing a therapeutic alliance with patients, and demonstrating safe, accurate, and timely medication administration. Additionally, you will participate in leading patient groups and provide a leadership role in organizing and providing patient care.
Requirements for this role include a graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing, current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the ability to utilize the nursing process and work collaboratively. A comprehensive orientation will be provided, and you will receive an additional $1/hr on your base salary as a member of the Resource Team.
