Job Description

**Job Summary**

TPI Staffing, Inc is seeking a highly dependable individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and damages.
  • Stage and stock products in designated areas, utilizing warehouse technology to track inventory.
  • Process customer returns, inspecting items for quality and quantity assurance.
  • Prepare and stage products for shipping, applying labels and securing pallets.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in our Lean Continuous Improvement culture, identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Understand and demonstrate United Stationers' Core Values.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Warehouse/Distribution-related experience helpful.
  • Material handling experience helpful.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Ability to follow simple directions (verbal and written) in English.
  • Ability to perform basic math.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to operate equipment in a safe and controlled manner, i.e., box erector, tape machine, pallet jack and walkie-rider.
  • Ability to leverage appropriate technology in an effective manner in performance of the function, i.e., pick-to-voice, computer, scanner, Associate Kiosks etc.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
