About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Xray Tech Associate to join our team at LCMC Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality x-ray and angiography procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform x-ray and angiography procedures according to departmental policy and procedure, demonstrating proficiency and quality in technical performance.
  • Select appropriate techniques, label and mark digital films correctly, and apply knowledge of scrubbing, circulating, Xray, and hemodynamic monitoring techniques.
  • Operate Medrad injector and Radiology equipment, maintaining radiation exposure ALARA and operating x-ray devices with and according to safety protocols.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in Cath Lab or Radiology Special Procedures training.
  • 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Radiology Special Procedures training, Interventional Radiology.
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Certifications
  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Radiography Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
  • Radiology Technologist licensure from the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners.
