Position Overview

The Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist plays a crucial role in providing specialized care in the field of radiology and cardiology. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and clinical knowledge to support various invasive procedures.

Certification Requirements
  • National Certification: Tech Cert Verification required within 30 days of commencement.
  • State License: Verification of State License 1 is necessary within 30 days of commencement.
  • NURSYS Verification: Required for RN, LPN/LVN, AP within 30 days of commencement.
  • NIH Stroke Certification: Important for qualification.
  • Miscellaneous Certifications: May be required based on unit specifications; always refer to the Unit Description.
Job Responsibilities
  • Backfill for designated personnel.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a relevant role is mandatory.
  • Weekend Availability: Required.
  • On-Call Duties: Required.
  • Holiday Coverage: Required.
  • Modalities Covered: Invasive Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart IR, Neuro Intervention, Vascular, and Pulmonary.
  • Required Skills: Proficiency in Stents, Ablations, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, and various studies including Vascular and Neurological.
Essential Qualifications
  • Certifications: ARRT, BLS, & LSRT are required.
  • Equipment Experience: Familiarity with Phillips single & Bi-Plane is essential; Siemens experience is preferred.
