Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at the Nashua Center's Hampstead Group Home. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders to achieve their personal goals and lead meaningful, independent lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication administration, and transportation.
  • Implement and monitor individual service plans (ISPs) to ensure residents receive the necessary support and services.
  • Work closely with a dedicated team to promote recreation and leisure activities, and ensure residents feel celebrated during achievements and comforted during challenges.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including bathing, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Document resident progress and report health and safety concerns to management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable, insured transportation for transporting residents.
  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
  • Desire to connect and relate to individuals with disabilities.
