Power Systems Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Power Systems Engineering Specialist to join our team at OneH2, Inc. in Longview, NC.
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the Role:
This role involves collaborating with manufacturing and other departments to determine requirements for engineering to ensure products meet compliance standards.
You will be responsible for verifying documents, determining upcoming documentation requirements, and communicating equipment design to engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Verify that documents are up-to-date and comply with industry standards.
- Determine the requirements for upcoming documentation and ensure accurate implementation.
- Communicate equipment design to engineering teams and ensure seamless collaboration.
- Adequate understanding of GD&T standards is required.
- Participate in the preparation of design guides and guide specifications.
- Manage scheduling and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Develop instructions for equipment operation and maintenance.
- Expertise in 480V 3-phase panel installation is essential.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, project management, quality, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, agency/safety teams, and global manufacturing operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or equivalent degree.
- At least 2 years of experience in power systems, specifically 480V 3-phase panel installation.
- Experience with intrinsic safety requirements and explosion-proofing is an advantage.
- Knowledge of hardware and safety circuit design for automated machines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
