Job Responsibilities
  • Machine Set-up reduction projects, and Lean improvements to support shop production.
  • Manage machine/welding/assembly/pressure test tooling standardization initiatives.
  • Liaise with Product Quality Specialists on non-conformance tracking and resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Learning Opportunities
  • Streamline material staging and set-ups for production jobs.
  • Machining and Welding principles.
  • Pressure Testing process.
  • Routing and process planning with work methods.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college with Mechanical or Industrial Engineering majors preferred.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Good interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across multiple functions to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office products, i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
