Sleep Disorder Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Sleep Study Technician to join our team at Holston Medical Group, PC. As a Sleep Study Technician, you will work under the direction of a physician, administering various sleep studies to diagnose sleep disorders. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing appropriate interventions, performing routine patient assessments, scoring sleep records, and following "lights on" procedures to verify integrity of collected data and complete the data collection process.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement appropriate interventions, including actions necessary for patient safety and therapeutic intervention such as continuous and bi-level positive airway pressure, oxygen administration, etc.
- Perform routine patient assessments and score sleep records.
- Follow "lights on" procedures to verify integrity of collected data and complete the data collection process.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state-licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent, and Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered. Previous experience is preferred. This position requires night shifts. The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $50,000 per year.
