We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Right at Home West LA. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional personal care services to our elderly and disabled clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being within the familiarity of their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care services to clients, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement care plans that meet their unique needs and preferences.
  • Assist clients with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and grocery shopping to enhance their quality of life.
  • Cultivate a sense of companionship and emotional support through meaningful conversations and activities.
  • Facilitate transportation to medical appointments, errands, and recreational outings to promote social engagement and mobility.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is advantageous, but comprehensive training is provided for all new caregivers.
  • Display a compassionate, empathetic, and respectful demeanor when interacting with clients and their families.
  • Possess strong communication skills, including the ability to listen attentively and respond effectively to various needs and concerns.
  • Uphold reliability, punctuality, and a profound sense of responsibility as foundational attributes.
  • Hold a valid and registered Home Care Aide (HCA) license, recently acquired TB test results, and an up-to-date CPR certification.
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are considered valuable assets.
  • Candidates must meet a minimum age requirement of 18 years.
