Position Summary

Are you meticulous and ready to start a career in manufacturing? Woodbine Manufacturing is seeking committed Manufacturing Associates to prepare our liftgates for the painting process, ensuring the high-quality finish our customers expect. Join us in maintaining our dedication to superior craftsmanship.

What We Offer

  • First Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM - Starting hourly rate of $19+/hr (Higher pay for experienced candidates.)
  • Second Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM - Starting hourly rate of $21+ (Higher pay for experienced candidates.)

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately read, interpret, and follow work orders and instructions, communicating with supervisors to clean and prepare liftgates for painting.
  • Smooth surfaces and carefully remove weld splatter to ensure optimal conditions for painting.
  • Thoroughly clean surfaces before painting using appropriate cleaning agents.
  • Manage and monitor inventory at workstations to ensure necessary components are available.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
  • Identify and document any product defects following company protocols.
  • Adhere to quality standards and safety procedures throughout all tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Skills

  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to frequently bend, reach, or twist.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in using handheld tools.
  • Attention to detail in task execution and quality checks.
  • Strong documentation skills for accurately recording defects and work performed.
  • Commitment to following established quality and safety protocols.
