Job Overview

BRIA is seeking a seasoned nursing professional to lead our nursing department as Director of Nursing. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Develop and implement nursing department budgets and policies.
  • Collaborate with doctors, residents, and family members to ensure effective communication and care.
  • Implement new procedures and train nursing staff on policies and protocols.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing in long-term care.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the State of Illinois.
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment, including PointClickCare.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
