Snowmaker Job Description

Join our team at TSG Ski & Golf, LLC as a Snowmaker, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the perfect snow conditions for our guests. As a Snowmaker, you will be responsible for assisting in daily snowmaking production with your assigned crew.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the highest quality snow conditions.
  • Support our sustainability initiatives by adhering to environmentally friendly practices.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as the Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act.
  • Set up and operate snowmaking equipment, including air-water fan guns and snowmobiles.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain snowmaking hoses and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with your team, including the Lead, Foreman, Techs, and Manager/Director.
  • Be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, and be on-call throughout the snowmaking and ski season.
Requirements:
  • Mechanic or technical schooling is a plus, but not required - we will provide training.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Mathematical skills to perform calculations and measurements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate snowmobiles, pick-up trucks, ATVs, and other equipment.
  • Ability to work at high elevations and in inclement weather conditions.
