This position offers a contract opportunity with potential for long-term engagement. The role is centered around collaborating with various stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable user stories.

Compensation: $50 - $55/hour. Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave, depending on the work location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units and subject matter experts to grasp the strategic vision and develop, refine, and prioritize user stories and features that align with compliance and business value.
  • Manage and uphold a prioritized backlog for one or more Agile teams.
  • Ensure the product backlog is comprehensive, including user stories with clear acceptance criteria to facilitate testing and implementation by Agile teams.
  • Review and validate deliverables from IT and business development to confirm adherence to acceptance criteria.
  • Utilize tools such as Jira and/or Rally to oversee workflow, document user stories, and maintain compliance with established controls.
  • Employ Microsoft Office tools for additional documentation and communication needs.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of various software delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe.
  • Experience in analyzing business requirements and process flows to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements while adhering to risk management frameworks.
  • Background in underwriting and/or pricing is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Earnix is a plus.
  • Proficient in using JIRA and/or Rally.
