Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team at Texas Health Fort Worth. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time opportunity with a 36-hour workweek, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe patient care under the delegation of appropriate Physician and competency sign-off.
  • Perform technical skills that are adapted to reflect the population-specific, developmental and diversity needs of the patient.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all members of the health care team.
  • Participate in change and understand, promote, and value evidence-based practices, quality improvement, and/or research.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Three (3) months recent Paramedic experience or completion of a Paramedic Internship is required.
  • One (1) year of Paramedic experience is preferred.
  • EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic upon hire required.
  • LP - Licensed Paramedic Upon Hire required.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire required.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 days of hire required.
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 60 days of hire required.
