Synergy Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Front Office Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, greet patients, and handle phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Patient Scheduling: Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and ensure timely and efficient service.
- Insurance Coordination: Verify patient insurance benefits, explain coverage and costs to patients, and handle objections related to insurance coverage.
- Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and insurance information.
- Financial Transactions: Process patient payments, manage accounts, and maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1 year of medical receptionist experience, preferably in a physical therapy or healthcare setting.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in medical software and technology.
