About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at All Ways Caring HomeCare. As a key member of our nursing group, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in various settings, including home health, hospice, residential, and private duty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist nurses with basic care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration rate.
- Provide simple or uncomplicated patient care, including administering medication as directed by a physician or nurse.
- Clean patient rooms and change bed linen.
- Transport patients and assist with mobility needs.
- Report patient changes and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Certification as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide, if required by state licensure.
- Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical tasks with proper body mechanics.
