The Role

The Operations Specialist - Financial Services reports to the Operations Supervisor and will play a critical role in supporting the Housing Acquisition and Tenant Coordination teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing property payments, including vacant unit agreements, and ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Handling participant arrears, liaising with government agencies and stakeholders as needed, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Overseeing broker and property owner communications for document submission, and facilitating efficient move-in processes and apartment matching.
  • Maintaining confidential tenant and landlord records, and ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal controls.
  • Creating Salesforce reports and dashboards for project teams, and managing vendor relationships, including scheduling repairs and inspections.
  • Coordinating unit furnishing, moving, and renter's insurance, and collaborating with accounting partners on payment tracking and audits.
  • Providing excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality, and performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills

We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with:

  • A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in administrative or operations support roles.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial operations, housing/real estate, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, and CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience in apartment repairs or real estate management is beneficial, and a passion for the organization's mission is essential.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive starting salary of $65,000-$70,000, and a comprehensive benefits package, including:
